It becomes traditional, this recurring nightmare I have. I dream that I can't wake up.
Or rather... I wake up a number of times, but always in another dream.
Each with its handicaps. Mainly health-related. For once I am unable to get up as I am too tired. For another, I am too short to reach the door knob to get out of the bedroom. This time it was different. I had the same dream 4 times (or rather, 2 times 2). Only on the second to the fourth, I knew I had lived it. Some sort of deja vu, inside the dream.
This time, I was in my old Gulpilhares' home (which was demolished, btw), but I lived alone. I woke up and looked into a clouded mirror as if I had showered in there. I cleaned the glass with my hands and I could see my face. Yes, it was me, not somebody else, as in the usual dreams. I walk outside and I'm in some sort of battle zone. My team is composed of some people and one of them is my brother.
I play a magic trick with my Access Card (the real one, the one I use daily), but I do it wrong and I am laughing with him, because I tried.
We are losing the battle as we are outnumbered in weaponry. I go out with a female solder, out of the van or whatever I was in to seek a tank of some sort that I knew that was incapacitated. But I was confident that I could bring it back up and running.
Then I wake up, in the dream. I realize I was dreaming. I look at the time. Time to get up. I'm still in my Gulpilhares home and the dream is relived. I knew it was a re-run, even from inside the dream.
I wake up for real (I think so). It's still sleeping time (I don't recall the actual time). I get back to bed. The dream is relived exactly as-is, meaning, I wake up twice again in dream and twice again I'm on that military story.
The common thing between this dream and the others, is that I dream a lot with me dreaming. And me getting up...
